What is the 24 Day Challenge? Does it Work?

Let me start by saying that the Challenge works, I did it about a year ago and loved the results. I haven't met anybody who has been disappointed with it. However, in order for the challenge to work you need to be committed and follow it rigorously, otherwise you are simply wasting your time and money. So, if you think you have what it takes to stay in track for 24 days, then I have no doubts in my mind that you will be happy by the 25th day. 




1. What is it?

It  is a comprehensive supplementation and nutrition program that will give your body the jumpstart it needs to help you reach your goals. whether your goal is to lose weight, gain energy, detox your body, or simply start a healthier lifestyle, the Challenge will fit you. The goal is that at the end of the challenge you not only look better but also feel better. Plus, the challenge is designed in such a way that if followed right, the results will keep showing even after the challenge is over. 

2. What is in it?




The Challenge is divided in two phases, from day 1-10 it is called the Cleanse Phase and from 11-24 is the Max Phase.

3. Do I need a specific diet or workout plan?

No, and this is the beauty of it. You won't need to follow any crazy smoothy only diet or anything like that, you will simply be encouraged to have 3 moderate and healthy meals a day, along with 2 healthy snacks. Of course, the better and healthier you eat, the better the results will be. The same concept applies to working out, you will have better results if you do workout, however it is not required.

4. What is the Cleanse Phase?

The cleanse is extremely important because it helps your body get rid of all the toxins and impurities, and it prepares it to better absorb nutrients. In the cleanse Phase the average weigh loss is 8 pounds. The Advocare Cleanse Phase is not the kind of cleanse where you are required to drastically reduce calories or consume only liquids, instead you will be able to eat real food, and you won't have to spend most of your day in the bathroom. Do not worry, it is not that kind of cleanse. 

5. What is the Max Phase?

The Max Phase is all about fueling your body of the right nutrients, and let it absorb what it needs, while letting go of the "garbage." I would encourage you to use the Catalyst if you are going to be working out (especially weightlifting) during the Challenge, and the Thermoplus if you have trouble controlling your portions.

Tips To Get Bigger and Leaner




I'm going to give you some tips on maximizing your gains at the gym. These are just some simple advices that will make your muscles look bigger and leaner in a matter of weeks without using any supplement.

1. More Reps, Even if it means less weight
    You have to put your pride aside and do more repetitions per exercise even if it means to lower the weight. If you want your muscles to be bigger and leaner, you need to focus on putting them through time under tension, and the way to do this, is by increasing your reps to at least 12+, even if that means lowering the weight to a 75% of your max. Another important thing, is to only rest 1 minute between sets. 

2. Rest each body part at least 4 days.
    Rest is where the muscle is actually growing. So it is necessary  for each body part to rest for at least 4 days in order to recuperate and regenerate itself appropriately. Believe me, if you are working each body part with more than 12 repetitions per set, you will need those 4 days to recuperate. 

3. Get Lean
    Getting lean will give your muscle more definition, and it will make them look more vascular, which gives the illusion of a bigger muscle.

4. Do drop sets
    Going back to time under tension. Drop sets are great, and they should be incorporated in the last set of every exercise. They will make you burn more calories, boost your metabolism, and get bigger and leaner muscles.

5. Eat Clean
    I dont care if you are in a bulking phase or in a cutting phase, everyone should always eat clean. Nutrition is extremely important in transforming our bodies, and the mistake that many people do, is that they eat unhealthy during their bulking phase, which simply makes them gain fat. The problem with this is that when the cutting phase comes, they loose all the weight back. I invite you to eat clean since the beginning and actually gain muscle. It will take a little longer, but it is worth it.

6. Boost your metabolism
     We need to constantly boost our metabolism if we want to burn more calories and to have more energy throughout the day. One of the simplest ways to boost our metabolism is by drinking lots of water, and eating at least every 4 hours. this will make your body burn more fat, and maintain muscle.

And as I was saying before, it works. I did it myself, and the results were unbelievable. To be honest, I was very skeptical to do the challenge, because I wasn't too sure about doing a cleanse and having to take supplements. But i give it a shot because I saw a couple friends having crazy results. Therefore, I just did it, and I am glad I did. The quality of the products is unbelievable. Advocare has incredibly great products that have the power to change your life. In addition to that, it is also a great business opportunity. I don't care what you have heard about MLMs, Network Marketing, or anything like that, with Advocare you have a chance to make some serious money. As a matter of fact, it is fairly easy and it does not require for you to invest more than 80 dollars a year. Best Way To Workout For You



As we discussed in a previous post, setting your fitness goals is the first and most important step in choosing a workout plan. Its importance lies in the fact that for a workout to be effective and give you the results that you are looking for, it must be gear towards achieving your specific goals. So here I'm going to give you the general rules you need to follow in your workout plan in order to achieve whatever goals you are looking for.

1. If what you want is to do strength training (get stronger and lift heavier weights):

  • Lift heavy, around 85% to 95% of your max
  • Take long rests between sets, between 2-4 minutes to fully recuperate
  • Do no more than 5 repetitions
  • Do between 4-6 sets 
  • Around 3 times a week
These rules will also make your muscles grow. However, their main focus is on strength.

2. If you are doing hypertrophy training (have big and defined muscles like a bodybuilder):

  • The key here is to put the muscle under a lot of time under tension. Therefore the repetitions must be slow and controlled
  • The weight must only be about 75% of your max
  • Do from 10-15 repetitions
  • Do between 2-3 sets
  • Do not allow yourself more than 90 sec rest in between sets 
  • Give each muscle around 4 day to recuperate
These rules are focussed in building bigger and leaner muscles. Due to the high volume of repetition, it will make your body burn more calories. 

3. If what you want is to loose weight:
  • Very low weight, less than 50% of your max
  • More than 15 repetitions
  • Less than 60 seconds rest intervals
  • Do more than 5 times a week

I understand that the fact that the company is structured as an MLM and that a lot of people are solely interested in the business opportunity, make people wonder about the actual quality of their products.
